Story Behind The Beds: Baron Fine Arts Masterpieces
Hello Fabulistas! The focal point of my Project Design 2014 suite was the luxurious custom beds I designed, that my friend Paul Baron (no relation!) von Urban of Baron Fine Arts made. I wanted to give the families at the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island a feeling of embrace during their tough times. These beds were designed especially for that effect. They were an engineering feat and a labor of love! Heres a glimpse of the process of brining these beds to fruition.

In the planning stages with Paul, who made my vision become a beautiful reality! This was the first step in seeing the bed come to life. I was excited to see the beginnings of the beds canopy. Pauls expertise ensured that the beds were sturdy and would last for many years for the RMHLI families. Now I can really start to see the beds take shape! This headboard fabric from JAB Anstoetz really pulls it all together. The way we used the Robert Allen faux ostrich vinyl really brings out the unique structure of the beds. Installation day at last! Installation complete Im thrilled to finally see them in their home!Photo by Phillip Ennis Photography
