Finishing Touches for Project Design 2014 for Ronald McDonald House of Long Island
Hello Fabulistas! A bed is incomplete without beautiful, luxurious sheets! I was thrilled to outfit my fab custom beds for Project Design 2014 with the help of comfy sheets, pillowcases, and throws from Serena & Lily. Making up the beds felt like an exciting finale for this remodeling process for Ronald McDonald House of Long Island!
The painting that inspired the color palette for the room is a painting by Icelandic artist Hjortur Hjartarson. It's a painting that was donated to our booth for Design on a Dime. Something about it spoke to me, so I bought it opening night, from my own booth! The painting ended up being the inspiration for the Ronald McDonald color scheme. I installed it in the bathroom of the suite to help bring the colors from one room to the next, balancing the colors in the suite overall.
