Through My Eyes: Cozy, Shimmering Spaces
Fabulistas,
Don't let the cold weather give you the blues...warm up with a cozy, shimmering space! Check out some of my favorite spaces that I designed...
Nestled in this cozy master bedroom is a seating area with custom closets with faux shagreen insets. A perfect place to read a book, plan a day, or relax at any time during the day.
On a cold chilly winter day, nothing says, snuggle in with a hot toddy and some soup like this Upper West Side restaurant's custom-tufted banquette nook I designed. Everything about this is custom! Even the oak paneled walls. For fabric flair I loved using Maharam.
Just breathe, relax, and come to center! That's what speaks to me in this room with sublime neutral colors accented by the Maya Romanoff mica wall covering inset between the ceiling beams and the Vintage wall scones, coffee table and custom sofa and love seat. The pair Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman chairs beg to be enjoyed while coming into your happy zone and the Stark Carpet brings everything together!
This bedroom design beckons and calls you to just climb in for a long restful nap! I loved using Dakota Jackson, Inc.'s handsome bed and nightstands. For the wall covering and fabric for the draperies, Larsen Fabrics was my go-to. Corresponding with the geometric order of the fabric, the Stark Carpet wool and silk rug and Studio Van Den Akker chandelier brings this room's design full circle!

This Robin Baron Design custom vanity speaks to the simplistic elegance that I strive to achieve in each project. Using a Maya Romanoff Mother of Pearl wall covering inlay in the vanity a well as on the walls and ceiling, the encapsulation of chic warmth is paramount. Vaughan Designs wall sconces with custom lamps shades drip from the walls reinforcing a chic sophistication!
