Southeastern Designer Showhouse 4/23 5/15 THE ULTIMATE INTERPRETATION of gracious living and quintessential Southern style, the first annual Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardensdesigned by architect Dietrich T. Logan of Logan Design Group International and built by Bill Preston, president of Atlanta-based Paradise Builders Inc.will debut in Buckhead's Tuxedo Park neighborhood in Spring 2016. The exquisite 20,000-square-foot English manor-style house is situated on a 3.5-acre lot that also includes a 2,500-square-foot pool house, infinity edge pool and tennis court. In addition to the array of top designers that will participate in the showhouse, renowned Atlanta-based interior designer Suzanne Kasler will serve as Honorary Chair. A portion of the proceeds from the Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens ticket sales will benefit Safe Kids Georgia, the safety initiative of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). San Francisco Decorator Showhouse 4/30 5/30 The San Francisco Decorator Showcase is widely considered to be the West Coasts premier design showhouse event, renowned for featuring the work of the regions top interior and landscape designers. All the funds raised through the Decorator Showcase go directly to support the San Francisco University High School (UHS) Financial Aid Program. The success of this important fundraiser depends upon the generous support of our sponsors, the schools trustees, parents, faculty, alumni, students, friends, the participation of hundreds of accomplished designers, and the patronage of thousands of Showcase visitors each year. LCDQ 5/3 5/5 For more than half a century, the La Cienega Design Quarter has been the destination for sophisticated shoppers looking for top quality design for the home. This legendary district, with its romantic courtyards, alluring windows and treasure troves of antiques, furniture, rugs, accessories and art, is known as the shopping heart and workplace of the interior design profession. Side by side with some of L.A.s most glamorous restaurants, bistros, fashion boutiques and salons, the LCDQ is the West Coast Style destination for all. The La Cienega Design Quarter was founded in 2008 with the intent of unifying and promoting member businesses. BKLNY DESIGNS 5/6 - 5/8 BKLYN DESIGNS is Brooklyns premier design event showcasing a cross section of design, architecture and art. Founded by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce in 2003, it was one of the first design fairs to shine a spotlight on the creative economy in Brooklyn and serves as an incubator for emerging designers as well as a platform for established brands producing a range of creative products across furniture, lighting, tableware, art, textiles and jewelry. Today, MAISON&OBJETs mission to go further and to showcase its talents and brands in the worlds most dynamic regions, through new annual events: after Asia and Singapore, which will hold a first session in March 2014, MAISON&OBJET will settle in at Miami Beach from May 2015. Miami offers a business platform in the heart of the Americas and their 954 million inhabitants. MAISON&OBJET AMERICAS aims to propose an annual event for North and South American visitors and professionals. It will bring together a selection of 300 brands representing the upscale spirit that has made MAISON&OBJET PARIS such a success.
44th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse 5/12 6/9 Each year, celebrated interior designers transform a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art and technology. This all began in 1973 when several dedicated supporters of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club launched the Kips Bay Decorator Show House to raise critical funds for much needed after school and enrichment programs for New York City children. Over the course of four decades, this project has grown into a must-see event for thousands of design enthusiasts and is renowned for sparking interior design trends throughout the world.
Wanted Design 5/13 5/16 WantedDesign Manhattan will partner with WorkOf, a one stop online retail destination for the best in American contemporary design, to invite visitors to discover original furniture in a designed environment.
ICFF 5/14 5/17 For the four-day duration of ICFF, the Javits Center will welcome more than 26,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, designers, manufacturers, representatives, distributors and developers.
As North America's premiere platform for what's best and what's next in contemporary design, ICFF annually lures those in determined pursuit of design's timely truths and latest trends to an encyclopedic exhibition of up-to-the-moment offerings, as well as a series of fascinating, fun, edifying programs, and a packed schedule of exhibits and features.

The 2016 Southern Style Now festival (May 18-22) will be a celebration of design, marked by keynotes, panel discussions, cocktail and dinner parties, exhibitions, and a showhouse. The debut of a major annual design event, the 2016 festival will be the first of its kind in the Southoffering incomparable networking opportunities, while helping one of Americas most beloved cities regain its footing as a global design capital. The festival is open to the public, as well as to design industry professionals. So, head to New Orleans, and let the good times roll!
ALPHA AWARDS WORKSHOP 5/24 Dedicated to creating beauty and changing lives, the Alpha Workshops is the nations only non-profit organization providing creative HIV-positive individuals with industry-specific training and employment in the decorative arts. It was founded in 1995 in the Chelsea area of Manhattan and modeled on the famed Omega Workshops, the Weiner Werkstatte, the Bauhaus, and the American Arts and Crafts movement. The multi-faceted organization encompasses the Alpha Workshops Studio School (AWSS), a vocational school licensed by the New York State Department of Education, and Alpha Workshops Studios, an award-winning professional design and decorative arts atelier staffed exclusively by AWSS graduates.
