Hello Fabulistas! Summer is winding down but there are still lots of fun activities to do in New York City. So if you can’t get away from the city for the weekend, there’s no need to worry. Just check out one of these hot new things to do and see! The Roof Garden Commission at The Met The Metropolitan Museum of Art has a fabulous roof garden space that’s open to visitors and I always look forward to new exhibitions featured there. The current Roof Garden Commission installation by Dan Graham with Günther Vogt makes great use of the beautiful space with a two-way mirror, lush ivy shrubs, and artificial grass. Sipping on a cocktail and taking in views of the park from this installation must go on the top of your to-do list for activities in New York City this summer!

Diane von Furstenberg for Kravet Diane is an iconic New Yorker and her signature wrap dresses are recognizable from a mile away! Her new collection of fabrics for Kravet has her colorful, travel-inspired mark on them. Kravet is one of the leaders in home furnishings and the selection in Diane’s collection is stunning, just as I’d suspect from the brand!

Mel Bochner: Strong Language They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what about a painting of words? You’ll have plenty of examples to help you crack that case if you visit the “Mel Bochner: Strong Language” exhibition at The Jewish Museum. The artist was a founding figure of the Conceptual Art movement in the 60’s and this show focuses on his recent paintings.
