Besides being the best-dressed GC I know, Vlad is always up to the task at hand, so I knew the painting would be top notch when he generously offered to do the project with me. Vlad and his team have worked on many projects for me over the years, both personally and professionally. His team is always dedicated with a can-do attitude. For my RMHLI suite, they began by skim coating the walls and ceilingsskim coating is a must for high-end worka great paint job is all in the prep work! We painted the ceilings in Benjamin Moores White Dove and the columns and trim in Benjamin Moores Alphano Beige 989. Pssst the trim is in a Satin Impervo finish, my signature look for trim and details!
The bath is also coming together. I always call on my friend Steve Chustckie and his company ABC Mirror and Glass whenever I do a bathroom. I know his shower doors are precisely measured and of the highest quality and hes fun to work with, too! For this bathroom he made a custom frameless shower door panel in Starfire glass, which is perfect for this space. Among the many installations weve done together, hes done a myriad of shower door configurations and complex mirror installations. Thank you Steve for always standing behind your work and being so generous for the RMHLI Project Design 2014.
Renovation is well underway and the work of my generous vendors and contractors continues! Be on the lookout for my posts this week to see more progress of this transformation. And please, donate to the cause to help give the families staying at RMHLI a wonderful, healing place to stay.
