Tuesday's Trends: Outdoor Friendly Decor

Hello Fabulistas! I hope you had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend. I know I did! It's always in times of outdoor entertaining that we realize that what we're missing. Even though I always try to be prepared, I realized that I could've used an extra outdoor-friendly side table this weekend. So that put me on the hunt for more outdoor friendly decor goods that don't scream "plastic lawn chairs"! Here are some of my favorite finds: Colorful side table I'm a sucker for West Elm's side tables. They're so chic and affordable! So this mosaic one caught my eye. It's a sturdy surface to set drinks, books, trays, whatever you may need while doing a little outdoor entertaining!

Versatile, colorful cube

I just talked about creating versatile seating and this indoor/outdoor cube makes a fab option! The only thing better than a sturdy decor piece is one that has so many uses. This would also make a cute seating option for a kids' playroom or guest bedroom.

Unsightly surface covering

Our outdoor surfaces can be costly to replace. Instead of holding out for a new patio, use an outdoor rug to cover up old pavers or stained concrete. I love that this geometric print rug is made to hold up to the elements. It's even perfect to use in a pool area!

Chic mosquito guard

There are so many products dedicated to keeping mosquitos at bay. However, this is the only one I've found that will make you feel like you're in Jane Austen's Emma! Throw this over an umbrella and seating set, and you'll create your own bug-proof outdoor room.

Whimsical umbrella

Even if you don't have quite enough room for a large patio set, (I'm looking at you, New Yorkers), popping open an umbrella can transform your space significantly! This striped Jonathan Adler umbrella reminds me of the umbrellas you see in old-timey movies.
