Hello Fabulistas! I’m SO excited for beach season! It’s finally getting warm here in New York City and I’m ready to hit the beach with my new tote, flip flops and a pile of HOT beach reads! Like you, I need a vacation. I can’t wait to get some sun, sip on a mojito and get reading. It’s the perfect way to relax, don’t you think? Here’s what’s on my reading list this summer: “If You’re Ever in Key West…” by Jane Dawkins This funny and romantic novel follows a British widow who decides to move from New York to Key West, Florida. “And The Mountains Echoed” by Khalid Hosseni I devoured The Kite Runner when it first came out. And of course, the book is always better than the movie! Khalid Hosseni tells a story in a way that you get completely sucked in and will not stop reading until you reach the last page. His latest novel follows a troubled family through the Middle East. “No One Could Have Guessed The Weather” by Anne-Marie Casey This is another one on my fun and easy reads list. Author Anne-Marie Casey tells a story about an aristocrat who’s forced to give up her lavish lifestyle after her husband loses his job. Oh yes, it takes place in Manhattan! Top Beach Reads

“The Other Typist” by Suzanne Rindell I have a soft spot for period books. This novel takes places in the 1920’s and takes place in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The story is set around the friendship of two typists and their flapper-era lives. Top Beach Reads

“One Fifth Avenue” by Candice Bushnell OF COURSE I had to add this Candice Bushnell’s book to the list! I adore the author of Sex and the City and Lipstick Jungle and I’m sure I’m going to fall in love with this book, too! As expected, the book revolves around New York City, real estate, the social scene and hopefully, cocktails! Should I move this to the top of the list?! Top Beach Reads
