Hello Fabulistas! I adore the holiday season. Everyone is in a happy mood, lights twinkle all over the city, and the store holiday window displays are ready for our viewing pleasure. I’ve already taken in this year’s decked-out windows, and here are some of my faves. Lord & Taylor Lord & Taylor decided to go vintage with this year’s holiday window display. The designers did a fab job of capturing the emotions of the city, with couples dancing under snowflakes, and high fashion on display. The detailed window scenes are grand and beautiful. It’s definitely a must-see this season! robin1

Barneys The beauty of New York City takes centerstage in the Barneys holiday windows. They’re simple, and elegant with cityscapes lit in gorgeous ways! The varied lighting will show New York City with lights on and off, all under falling snow. It’s going to be a fabulous installation! robin2

Bloomingdale’s Bloomies went global this holiday season. Its windows are filled with chic scenes from other countries, including Italy, France, and China. I love that you can feel like you’re celebrating the holidays in Paris, right from New York! robin3

Henri Bendel Our love for celebrities was turned into a Bendel’s holiday window display! Caricatures by illustrator Al Hirschfeld fill the scenes. Stop by and see some of the greats, like Audrey Hepburn, Liza Minnelli, Sarah Jessica Parker, and even Woody Allen! robin4

Tiffany & Co. Tiffany’s unveiled this and other charming sketches for its holiday windows. They show a glam white city scene under a sprinkling of snow. The classic Upper East Side apartments are adorned with wreaths, stockings, and mistletoe. Streamlined and fab! robin5

Visiting the holiday windows is always a must during New York winters. It’s one of my favorite things to do with friends and family. The windows are so detailed and innovative, it’s something everyone will love! Have you visited them yet? Which is your favorite window display?
