Hello Fabulistas! We started the renovation of our bedroom suite for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island and I couldn’t be more excited to see this transformation come to life! For the month of September my blog is going to be all about Project Design 2014. I have generous vendors donating their time, labor, and products to this special project and I thought it would be fun to give you a behind-the-scenes look at our progress along the way. Before and During before Our Soon-to-be After:

We’re making great headway thanks to my generous GC, Cortlandt Contracting Corp. I’ve worked with Paul Hartigan and used his company Cortlandt Contracting Corp. for many years on high-end projects. Their attention to detail is one of the things I love most about them. I know I’m always in good hands with them. Paul and his company are a full-service contracting company and handle everything from soup to nuts when it comes to construction. Thank you Paul for donating your part in the renovation of this bedroom suite!

Part of our renovation includes redoing the electrical in the suite and AMR Contracting Corp. stepped up to the plate. AMR frequently works with Cortlandt so they are also experienced with high-end projects. At this point they’ve finished all of the wiring and I can’t wait to have them back to install our fab lighting throughout the suite! electrric As I see our renovation come to life, it gets me more excited about seeing this suite once it’s finally finished. Please feel free to donate to help the families that will be staying in our suite. Any amount is appreciated. You’re making a difference in a family’s life!
