Pillow Pop

Last week I checked out the new fall textiles lines from Donghia, Sahco, and Armani/Casa…but ever since then, I’ve just been craving more! There’s something so exciting about getting an inside peek at a product line before it is launched. It’s kind of like getting a little glimpse into the future. Of course, I don’t do well with secret-keeping…every time I see something I love, I just want to share it with YOU!I took a stroll over to the Yves Delorme showroom on Wednesday to get an advanced look at their Fall/Winter collection. I was swept away into a world of Parisian and pink…don’t you love this chaise? And oh, could I go for a macaroon right about now! (Then again, couldn’t I always?)

The bedding was chic, as always, but what really sent me were the fab pillows by Iosis! Bold print pillows are SO on trend right now, and I love incorporating them into a room because they are the perfect way to bring in a great pop of color without overwhelming the eye. The possibilities are endless…a bright color, a fun pattern, even an animal or geometric shape in the center of a pillow can elevate a room beyond the level of chic into eclectic and personal. I always say: claim your style. Pillows are a GREAT way to do that!Look at the colorful feather design on these grey pillows. They’re cute on their own, and yet they are also perfect for mixing and matching. See how fab they look against the orange, yellow, and purple?

Pillows have become a tableau for colorful artistic designs, like these exciting Iosis ferris wheel prints and elegant florals.

What’s seriously trending right now, though, is animals on accent pillows! I love this trend. Incorporating whimsical elements like animals can be tricky, but on a pillow, they’re subdued enough to be chic and prominent enough to add an element of fun! The collection featured birds, horses…even rabbits!

Is it just me, or would some of these make for one colorful pillow fight? Or at least a SUPER chic slumber party!
