My Favorite Picks from BDNY

Hello Fabulistas! I went to the Boutique Design Trade Fair (BDNY) this week at the Jacob K. Javits Center and wanted to share some my favorite finds. IMG_2490

Tibetano makes beautiful rugs of all types including leather and hide, like this one here, which is one I love...and am considering for my own home!

I just love these wall sconces by Regina Andrew. They are made with lucite spheres...and I'm a sucker for lucite!

IMG_2496

This chrome and hand-blown glass wall sculpture by Lusive is very glam...right up my alley!

The crackle glass globes on this modern light fixture by Trend, gives it a fresh look...and this floor lamp...very cool!

Quality & Company was voted the best booth in the show, and I can see why. Each piece has beautiful lines and a clean modern, unique look.

I thought Sherle Wagner was synonymous with over the top, traditional faucet sets. How wrong I was! This set is contemporary, interesting and fabulous!

What a great find! The molds for these hand-blown glass fixtures by Preciosa were found in the attic of the old workshop. They’ve been brought back to life…and I can’t wait to use them for a project!

Artistic Tile is one of my go-to vendors, so I thought I knew everything that they were up to...seeing them at the show proved me wrong! Always innovative, each one of these new releases is chock full of personality. I can't wait to get my hands on them for some of my new clients!

You won't believe it, but this tile is porcelain. It's absolutely stunning. Elegant, different and very well priced...it's a true find!

I love how Artistic Tile works texturally with stone. Here are some of their new patterns created by using texture.

It's not always easy to find time to go to a trade show, but keeping your finger on the pulse of what's happening is important. You never know where you'll find a new resource...or be inspired!

Great design isn't always about symmetry, it's about balance.

Create equal but different visual interest on both sides of your space by playing with varying heights, weights, and quantities of your objects on opposing sides.
