The “a-ha” moment for this project was the bold-patterned, textured fabric we ultimately used on the pillows.

My “aha” moment? It’s something I look for in every project. It’s when my expertise and talent meets the inspiration and excitement of a client. I never know how long it’s going to take, or what the stimulus for it will be…but that’s the fun of it! It could be the first time I go out with a client, or after we’ve spent two weeks together shopping. The inspiration can come from anywhere…from a fabric, a vase, a rug, even a favorite piece of clothing. When it happens, it’s an inspired, synergistic moment. It’s not about thinking what to do, or what goes with what…It’s about not thinking at all. I know it’s the “a-ha” moment when it feels like I’m channeling the creative process. For me, the love of my work is all about the experience of that moment. It’s from this point that the entire project takes on a life of its own, becoming truly about the client.I pride myself on being able to work in many design styles, and it’s because of this design philosophy that I’m able to do this. My passion is to create homes that are uniquely different and client focused. I’m all about being inspired!
