Corset laces, zebra print, and belt buckles… Oh my! So me!!!They’re hot trends on the runway and now you can get them for your home. I discovered
The New Traditionalists collection at the
Architectural Digest show and we seem to be a match made in heaven! We were both decked out in the same fab flair. Here are a few of my favorite fashion trends this furniture company is rockin’!A perfect example of how fashion can influence home decor and how to translate trends from the runway to the homeway.
All tied up Look at this laced-up leather bar stool. It matches the leggings I happened to wear to the show! Corseting is not just for the French, it’s been popping up in home decor and furniture design recently just see
my post for the New York Gift Show.
Belt it out A fabulous belt buckle kicks an outfit (or chair!) up a notch. This chair no. 45 is decked out with antique brass buckles. Now that’s cool!
It’s all about the accessories here (isn’t it always?). My zebra print bag is the perfect accent to my outfit just as the New Traditionalist ‘s chair no. 64 is to a dining room table. Or get wild in the bedroom by adding this zebra hide headboard no. 21 to your boudoir.
I love that The New Traditionalist ‘s are responsibly fashionable. They manufacture and design locally and are eco-friendly with low VOC finishes and sustainable hardwoods.Stay tuned, more to come from the Architectural Digest Home Design Show !
