I mixed the Trellis Sheet Sets in Grass and Aqua , on each bed to punctuate the two key colors of the room. And for an extra flourish, I used their Brahms Mount Herringbone Throws in Apple and Mist to add subtle texture into the bedding mix. Thank you, Serena & Lily for graciously donating these items to complete our colorful, custom beds!
The bathroom needs as much design love as any other room after all, great design IS in the details! Here in the RMHLI bathroom, we used the plush Harlequin jacquard Venezia towels by Christy . Once again, I mixed their Lime, Stone, and Zinc colors to keep a consistent look with the bedrooms color scheme. They look gorgeous against the tile and bring in cheerful pops of color.
Every cozy chair needs a side table to help balance the look and give you a place to put your cup of tea. The Currey & Co. Hookah Accent Table that I used in the room gleams with the hammered metal finish that adds just that little touch of glam that I always love. Thank God for Yudi, who had so much fun assembling it more fun than I would have had, for sure!
All assembled and accessorized, its perfect next to the chair.
My good friend, and accountability partner, Cozy Friedman generously donated cases of her famous hair care products from her SoCozy Salon Formulas for Kids . Cozys childrens hair salons are well known in New York City and she recently expanded her incredible products nationally. Thank you for your generosity Cozy and good luck on your launch! The painting that inspired the color palette for the room is a painting by Icelandic artist Hjortur Hjartarson. It’s a painting that was donated to our booth for Design on a Dime. Something about it spoke to me, so I bought it opening night, from my own booth! The painting ended up being the inspiration for the Ronald McDonald color scheme. I installed it in the bathroom of the suite to help bring the colors from one room to the next, balancing the colors in the suite overall.
I cant wait! The time has finally come! Check the blog out on Friday for photos of the big reveal and the gala itself. Its still not too late to donate to RMHLI or purchase your last-minute gala tickets dont forget Ryan Serhant from Million Dollar Listing New York is the Emcee!
