Fab Friday Icons: Jackie Kennedy Onassis

Bon weekend! Are you ready for another Fab Friday Icons post? This month I decided to feature one of America’s most influential style icons…. former First Lady, Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Even before Jackie would become the wife of the most powerful man at the time, she was known for her elegance and grace. She inspired women all over the world to follow her chic and timeless style, and affirmed her status as one of the biggest style icons of the 20th century.

Mrs. John F. Kennedy’s signature look was undeniably one of the most celebrated styles in the history of First Ladies. A-line dresses, above-the-elbow gloves and the infamous pillbox hat defined her style during her husband’s presidency.

In the 70s Jackie O’s look became more relaxed and made headlines with her wide leg trousers, striped shirts and oversized sunglasses. Jackie Kennedy Onassis was one of the most influential women in the fashion world and she will always be remembered for her beauty and timeless, classic style!

What’s your favorite look of Jackie O? Do you have other style icons that you’d like me to write about? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me @robinbaron.
