Fabulistas, it’s such a good feeling to be the company of like-minded people!
Last week, during Market Week, I was invited to participate in a Blogger’s Breakfast, at the Welspun showroom in the textile building here in NYC.
While I was there, I had the pleasure of meeting the CEO of Welspun Global Brands, Dipali Goenka.
Not only is Dipali very gracious, she REALLY does care about the consumers who purchase their products. She cares about protecting the planet (and their manufacturing process shows it!) And, she’s also visibly and measurably committed to uplifting women – as evidenced by Welspun’s SPUN line. The line is handmade by women in India. Think fair trade meets Kiva meets corporate social responsibility and you’ll have an idea of what SPUN is about.
Dipali has such a clear vision of how she’s growing Welspun while comforting and healing the planet. So VERY uplifting, inspirational and empowering.
The Editor-At-Large team was on hand to capture the event, too!
P.S. Video from Editor-At-Large video coming soon!
