Around this time of year I like to bring in fresh flowers and change up my space with softer colors. Here are a few Easter decorating tips I like to use. Unique Easter Eggs An obvious decoration idea is to dye some eggs and place them in a beautiful bowl. I like to find different uses for the eggs. Sometimes I turn them into candles, garlands and even vases! There are so many uses for eggshells, you just have to think outside of the box!

Spring-y Candles Candles are a fabulous source of light, and they add a very nice ambiance to a room. I like to decorate for Easter is to jazz up your candles. I love this tutorial from Martha Stewart showcasing how to make grass candles. It’s an easy way to bring the outside in!

Flowers and Fabulous Vases

I like to buy fresh flowers once a week. During Easter I mix up my vases. I found these hand-painted mason jars on Etsy and thought they were PERFECT! The pastel shades are exactly what I had in mind. Gorgeous.

Colorful Wreaths The finishing touch is the wreath on the door. I like to create one that has color and interest. The one below has a lot of texture due to the wrapped yarn, which is very appealing to the eye. Pick a wreath that fits the style of your home. You can make one yourself, or buy one if you’re short on time. To me, the wreath is the most important part of the decor. I never skip it!
