Hello Fabulistas! I’m eagerly awaiting the final reveal of my glam room vignette for Housing Works’ Design on a Dime 2014 . So many wonderful vendors have donated items to include for the charitable event. Until then, here is a sneak peek at some of my generous resources. Opiary There are so many fascinating things that you can do with plants and Opiary explores those wonderful possibilities! I love plants, but I’m not very good at taking care of them, so their innovative ways for bringing green into the home are well suited for me! Their terraforms, planters, and more, are a chic way to bring an earthy, sculptural feel into modern spaces.

From The Source This Greenpoint-based company has an earthy and modern look. They source their woods from all over the world and are always eco-conscious. Their live edge tables are beautiful, priced well and they’ll customize sizes specifically for you. Their beautiful create your own table options allow for customization through the table size, wood slab, leg style, and more. There are few companies that let you do this, especially affordably. It’s always great to know where your products wood is sourced, but it’s even more fun when you go to their warehouse and see all the possibilities. They have a location in Chelsea, but nothing compares to their headquarters in Greenpoint.

JAB Anstoetz This European fabric house specializes in luxe fabrics. Their showroom in the D&D building represents the wide variety of looks and fabrications from everyday fabrics to special novelty looks. They also have a beautiful line of outdoor fabrics that looks like they belong inside the house, but are completely separate. I just saw their new collection of throws and you’ll be able to find one of these throws in our booth at Design on a Dime.
