Hello Fabulistas! My team and I are continuing our work on an amazing room vignette for Housing Works’ big event, Design on a Dime 2014 . The big reveal happens on the opening night party on April 24. ( Follow this link to buy tickets. ) The actual products will be a surprise on opening night. I want to share some of my vendors who have been generous enough to donate to my booth. Metropolitan Lighting Metropolitan Lighting has a wide scope of all kinds of lighting, from sconces to chandeliers, picture lights, and lamps. Visiting this vendor at the New York Design Center is like walking in to a whole universe of clean lines and modern looks. It’s full of everything that you can imagine. They’ve generously donated a cool table lamp and an even cooler floor lamp for my vignette.

Blanche P. Field What finishes a lamp more than anything else is a custom lampshade. I’ve been going to Blanche P. Field for years to do my custom lampshades. Lisa Simkin has a great eye and knows that I always like to do something different. She pays attention to every last detail on every lampshade. The team is creating lampshades that I custom designed for the vignette that will add even more elegance to the Metropolitan Lighting lamps.

Casella Lighting is like another type of jewelry for a room. Fixtures highlight the other fabulous parts, while adding to a room’s style. Casella has provided a fabulous column light that will add some edge to the vignette.
