On Wednesday, I attended Kneedler-Fauchère s seventh annual “Welcome to Paris” reception, hosted at the brands apartment in the 6th arrondissement. I laughed, raised a glass and connected with family, friends and industry colleagues. That same evening, I joined one of my favorite rug vendors, Woven Accents , for a special dinner party. How do you say YUMMY in French? The early bird got the worm on Thursday! Bright and early, I kicked off the day with Pierre Frey where Patrick Frey presented their new 2016 Fandini-Borghi and Boussac collections. This was capped off by a private tour of a special Pierre Frey exhibit by curator, Sophie Rouart. Friday found me spending the day exploring Maison et Objet . I’ll have a full recount of this experience and my guide to this year’s Maison! Stay tuned! On Saturday, I attended the Antiques Divas Living with Antiques in Modern Times talk and cocktail hour with Toma Clark Haines, the Antiques Diva; Cathy Whitlock, spokesperson for RubyLUX and Jake Baer of Newel Antiques. They discussed one of my favorite topics the enduring trend of decorating with antiques. That same night, I was whisked away to join the Anne Hidalgo , the first woman Mayor of Paris along with other esteemed guests at the Hotel de Ville for the fabulous annual American Party in Paris! Saturday, my last day in the City of Lights, started with the 3rd annual Paris Flea Market Champagne Brunch with the Antiques Diva, Toma Clark Haines. After which, I headed over to Nobilis Bon Voyage Fromage at the home of Denis Halard, Managing Director of Nobilis, featuring a cheese tasting curated by local cheese artesian Bastien Dubois, son of Parisian Master Cheese Maker, Martine Dubois.I then wrapped up the day with Editor-in-Chief, Elizabeth Ralls, at the cocktail hour hosted by her publication, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles .And, BREATHE! I had such a blast and I will be posting even more of my Paris extravaganza. For now, a flight home and maybe a little rest, eh? 🙂
