Fabulistas, for the past week, I have been in one of my favorite cities in the world, Paris!I’m here for Maison & Objet and Paris Design Week — and, while my schedule has been beyond abundant, I’ve been loving every minute of it!I want to fill you in on all of it, so here’s a little bit of a breakdown of my schedule from this week — here’s a glimpse at some of the events I’m attending during my whirlwind visit to the City of Light! Maison & Objet -- Paris Design Week January 21-26 found me enjoying the scene and the sights at Paris Deco Off , the luxury textile show and Maison & Objet , the trade-only design show. Soooo much design, so little time!

On Wednesday, I attended Kneedler-Fauchère ’s seventh annual “Welcome to Paris” reception, hosted at the brand’s apartment in the 6th arrondissement. I laughed, raised a glass and connected with family, friends and industry colleagues. woven_accents That same evening, I joined one of my favorite rug vendors, Woven Accents , for a special dinner party. How do you say YUMMY in French? fandini_borghi The early bird got the worm on Thursday! Bright and early, I kicked off the day with Pierre Frey where Patrick Frey presented their new 2016 Fandini-Borghi and Boussac collections. This was capped off by a private tour of a special Pierre Frey exhibit by curator, Sophie Rouart. maison_objet Friday found me spending the day exploring Maison et Objet . I’ll have a full recount of this experience and my guide to this year’s Maison! Stay tuned! antiques_diva On Saturday, I attended the Antiques Diva’s “Living with Antiques in Modern Times” talk and cocktail hour with Toma Clark Haines, the Antiques Diva; Cathy Whitlock, spokesperson for RubyLUX and Jake Baer of Newel Antiques. They discussed one of my favorite topics – the enduring “trend” of decorating with antiques.That same night, I was whisked away to join the Anne Hidalgo , the first woman Mayor of Paris along with other esteemed guests at the Hotel de Ville for the fabulous annual American Party in Paris! au_revoir_paris Saturday, my last day in the City of Lights, started with the 3rd annual Paris Flea Market Champagne Brunch with the Antiques Diva, Toma Clark Haines.After which, I headed over to Nobilis ’ “Bon Voyage Fromage” at the home of Denis Halard, Managing Director of Nobilis, featuring a cheese tasting curated by local cheese artesian Bastien Dubois, son of Parisian Master Cheese Maker, Martine Dubois.I then wrapped up the day with Editor-in-Chief, Elizabeth Ralls, at the cocktail hour hosted by her publication, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles .And, BREATHE! I had such a blast and I will be posting even more of my Paris extravaganza. For now, a flight home and maybe a little rest, eh? 🙂
