Simplifying Delicious: Fab Low-Calorie Spring Salads

Hello Fabulistas! Spring is in the air and like all of you, I'm thinking about getting ready for bathing suit season. While I love to hit the gym, my schedule doesn't always allow it. So I really have to watch what I eat. Warmer weather means more events, which means more eating! Before I leave the house I try to fill up on one of my favorite low-calorie salads. Here are some fab salads I recommend. They're easy to make and super delish! Snow Peas Salad Snow peas are available almost everywhere, so no matter where you live you won't have trouble finding them. They're also crispy, which is perfect for spring! It's made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and flavored with lime and orange juice mixed with a touch of oil. It's also great as a side dish! Fab low-calorie spring salads

Fruity Coconut Salad

This salad is perfect for a meal OR dessert! What I love the most is that it can be made with any fruit that's in season, and anything you have on hand. When I'm in a bind I grab a couple of fruits from my deli and whip this up.

Greek Bean Salad

This is another salad I love, not just because it's tasty but because it's quick to make! I'm always on the go, and this salad helps me eat healthy when I'm in a rush. Just toss the ingredients in a bowl, give it a quick mix and you're all set. This can also be kept for a few hours, so I can prep it ahead of time and grab it while I'm running out.

Lime-Marinated Shrimp Salad

I LOVE adding shrimp to my salads! It's high in Omega 3, which is great for the brain. It's low in calories and can be made in a variety of ways. This is also another salad that I like to make ahead of time. Make the shrimp, let it marinate and when you're ready to eat you can prep your salad in seconds.

Great design isn't always about symmetry, it's about balance.

Create equal but different visual interest on both sides of your space by playing with varying heights, weights, and quantities of your objects on opposing sides.
