January is one of my favorite months of the year. (No, I’m not just really into blistering winds and bundling up.) I love all of the new things going on in the world. It’s AMAZING what a new calendar year will make people create! There are lots of things that have grabbed my attention this month and here are just a few. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway I LOVE the classic Tennessee Williams play. The film is one of Elizabeth Taylor’s best performances! I’m sure, though, that Scarlett Johansson is going to do Liz justice on Broadway. Right now, the play’s in previews and I need to order my ticket!

Polka Dots If there’s one thing that will never really go out of style, it’s this spotty print. Those dots pop up EVERYWHERE in both fashion and interior design! They also bring a retro edge without looking like you went diving in your great aunt’s closet.

Revenge Have you caught onto this hot show by now? I didn’t start it from the beginning but caught up in time for Sunday’s premiere. If you love soap operas, drama or just fabulous styling, you will LOVE this show! The Hamptons homes are fabulous and the plot line is juicy. You can’t ask for much more!

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on The Golden Globes There is hardly a female comedic duo more loved right now than Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. They’re both so hilarious in their own right! When they get together it’s double the hilarity! I love watching awards shows for all the outstanding fashion moments and now I’m most excited about all of their commentary!
