Design Insider: Top 10 Interior Design Books
Hello Fabulistas! I've been working on updating my library, and looking for fab design books to have on hand. Books are a great source of inspiration for me, especially design books. What do you do when you have an inspiration block? I turn to books that show fabulous settings and sometimes tell me how to achieve those looks. There are so many design books I'm looking to invest in, but right now, here are my top 10. American Fashion Designers At Home What better inspiration that fashion? Fashion designers tend to think outside of the box, and their homes are usually FAB, so of course I love to look at their spaces. What amazing eye-candy! This book features over 100 members of the Council of Fashion, including Carolina Herrera, Betsey Johnson and Bob Mackie.
from AssoulineUndecorate Undecorate is an unusual book by the founder of Dwell Studio, Christiane Lemieux. This books speaks to the time we are in, where overly decorated spaces are frowned upon. We like homes to feel personal and lived in. Undecorate showcases 20 homes throughout the country, which are all decorated very well, but all a bit imperfect.

I'm a fan of The Novogratz because of their style and because they can turn nothing into fabulous very quickly. They have great vision! Their new book, Home, showcases many of their projects, but what's interesting is that for each home, they teach us a little DIY! With this book you can get a little Novogratz style for yourself.

Founder Grace Bonney did a fabulous job turning her award-winning blog into a book we can enjoy in print. The book features the same DIY ideas, and before and afters we love on the blog! It's a great source of inspiration and a fab guide to help you revamp your home.
from Amazon100 Ways To Happy Chic Your Life Jonathan Adler quickly became known as the go-to designer for pattern and color. His goal is to adorn spaces with bright colors which will make you HAPPY! In his book Jonathan Adler shows us 100 ways to create Happy Chic spaces. Definitely inspiring!

She has a fabulous eye, and she's recently come out with 2 books! The first, Decorate, features homes of celebrity designers, and 1,000 tips for every room and every budget.

In this book Holly shares her 8 step process on decorating a space and provides us with useful checklists and ideas. I love this book!

He takes us through his life and tell us how he got started in design and who's helped him along the way. It's a different kind of inspiration, and whenever I'm having a tough day I know this book will lift me up.
