Hello Fabulistas! My suite at the Ronald McDonald House of LI is coming to fruition! Every day there’s more and more progress. Right now we’re working on the renovation of the bathroom. Before and During:

What I love most about my work is the creative process… going to the Artistic Tile showroom, finding unique tiles, and combining them in unexpected ways. Once I made my selections, Artistic Tile generously donated their Foliage glass tiles from The Jazz Collection in Be Bop White for the walls and we partnered them with their porcelain Sky tiles from the Flow Collection in Medium Blue/Grey on the tub wall and floor. This unexpected combination creates an organic, fun, and glamorous look for our en suite bath.

Artistic Tile has been an essential and treasured vendor of my firm for many years. Their innovative and forward-thinking products have helped create some of my most custom residential projects… and let’s not forget that they hosted my successful Ronald McDonald House of LI fundraiser in July for Project Design 2014 ! I greatly appreciate their ongoing support and generosity.

I can always count on Dura Tile & Stone for my high-end tile installations, so they were one of my first calls when I found out I was doing a suite at the Ronald McDonald House of LI. Knowing that we need an expert to work with the glass tile, Julio and his team said yes to this labor of love. Their finishing touch is going to be installing the PentalQuartz custom countertop in Crystal White that Terra Tile & Marble generously donated, fabricated, and installed. It will complete our calming and inviting bathroom. You’ll be able to see how fine and precise their work is when I unveil the finished bathroom in the weeks to come.
