Happy Friday, everyone. This week I met up for coffee, tea and yummy sweets with fellow blogger and good friend, Tina, in Soho. We finally caught up on her amazing trip to Europe for BlogTour and everything that’s happened in the new year! When Tina is not designing for uber-talented Vicente Wolf , she takes her creative vision online to write for her fabulous blog, Life in Sketch . Read on to find out all about what she’s been up to. Robin Baron: Welcome, Tina. Tell us what you are currently up to. Tina Ramchandani: Life in Sketch ’s two year anniversary is in March, so I’ve been plotting and planning ways to celebrate. There are lots of fun surprises coming up on the blog! I can’t say too much, but it’s a month long celebration. You’ll have to pop in and check it out. RB: We love your blog – when you are not blogging, what are you up to? TR: I’m not a professional photographer by any means, but I love to take pictures. I have a few different cameras and when I don’t have one of them on me, I’m constantly instagraming! RB: What’s your best pinch-myself moment? TR: In 2011 one of my favorite bloggers, Holly of Decor8 , asked me to interview Justin Timberlake for her blog. She wasn’t in New York and needed someone to represent her. I couldn’t believe it! Best blog moment ever! RB: How did you get started in interior design? TR: When I was in undergrad, I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go with my career. While at a cousin’s wedding in Mumbai, I walked into what I thought at the time was the most beautiful hotel, the JW Marriot . I immediately started taking pictures of every detail I could and knew shortly after that designing beautiful spaces what I wanted to do. I wanted everyone to feel as elated as I did at that moment.

RB: Tell us about your work space. What inspires you at the office? TR: Doing something different every day is what inspires me, and that happens a lot in design! One day I could be space planning, another picking fabrics and another solving problems. It keeps me on my toes! And of course seeing gorgeous products helps too!

RB: Who are your Top 3 favorite designers? TR: It’s really hard to narrow it down, there are so many fabulous designers out there! If I had to pick I’d say Marcel Wanders , Vicente Wolf and the NYC firm AVROKO – they do everything from interiors to branding. Totally in love!

RB: What’s your favorite source of inspiration? TR: Stepping away from my desk and being out in the world. Just a few minutes outside, whether it’s in the city, or a beach or country, it helps me reenergize. RB: What are your top two guilty pleasure foods? TR: Don’t judge: cheeseburgers and pizza. Not at the same time, obviously. RB: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would that be? TR: I’ve been dying to go to Thailand. It seems like one of the most beautiful places in the world, I have to make it over there soon. RB: What’s the one thing you can’t live without? TR: Is it horrible to say my iPhone?? Yes, I think that would be it. I’m so attached to it.
