Fabulistas,At ?last night’s insightful event moderated by Charles Pavarini III ?at CF Modern , I looked around the room and was ?inspired ?by the energy and creativity at the NYDC ?! Honored to have been on a panel of designers as fascinated by design a?s? myself, I was ?thrilled to ?share ?ideas ?with my fellow panelists and answer the audience’s? questions. It’s? one of my favorite part?s? about being a speaker?: ?sharing the love with ?t?he design community!Over the years, I’ve become involved with a number of charitable benefit projects, such as show-houses and designing tables for galas, where I get to be a part of something important while exploring my creativity. Glamorous tabletops for these type of events was one of the hot topics of the night; I was delighted to be able to share my experiences with the audience and spark interesting conversation among my colleagues. Below are scenes from my involvement with the Hope Lodge NYC where we raised money for the American Cancer Society ! It was a joy to be part of such an amazing event.Special thanks to my fellow panelists for joining me: J.Randall , Alan Tanksley , and Nazira Handal. unnamed (2) Here’s my table transformed to re-create the impression New York City leaves behind on our community at the Harmonie Club . unnamed (1) Everything from the hand-made linens to the decadent floral finishes were all a part of the intricate details that really helped my vision for this extravagant table-top experience! unnamed INHABITAT – “Designer Robin Baron’s New York City-themed tablescape was a showstopper with its glowing, translucent centerpiece.”
