Beach shells If you’re a fan of a beachy theme, now’s the time to start decorating! Unless you live close to the water, you can’t pull off the beach theme year-round. During the warm summer months I like to use shells as place cards and table decor. It helps my guests relax and enjoy themselves from the start. It reminds me of vacation!

Rustic table decor There’s something charming about sitting at a table designed around a rustic theme. I feel like I’m sitting on a farm or in an old cottage. Especially when it’s lit with string lights above! The rustic theme can be achieved by using found objects to hold flowers and plants like wood boxes or galvanized buckets. It’s one of my favorites because it’s such a low cost table decor idea.

Nautical look You can’t let summer pass by without taking advantage of the nautical look. This is one of my favorite summer and early fall looks. It’s classic and always a fan favorite! There are several ways to get the look for yourself. You can decorate your table with blue and white striped table cloths, add blue flowers, use blue and white plates… use your imagination! Because this look has been around for a long time, it’s easy to make your own.

White Nothing says summer like WHITE! White is my go-to summer color, for clothing and decor. In the Hamptons we wear white all summer and in most beach towns we decorate in white. Of course, our tables should be white, as well! White is one of my favorite themes because you can dress it up or down depending on your event.
