Hello Fabulistas! When I’m feeling overwhelmed or in need of some inspiration I try to get to a museum or check out an art exhibit. There are so many to choose from here in New York, but it can get expensive! When I don’t have a lot of time to spend at an exhibit but want to see a few nice things I turn to the free spots. There are tons of free things to to here, you just have to look for them! Free Museum Nights Almost every museum here in New York has a free night. They aren’t always convenient and they’re always crowded. With that said, I love the free nights! It’s a great way to check out that exhibit that’s been on your list at no cost. At most of the museums the line moves quickly, too. People are in and out! Here’s a list I like to use to check out the free days and nights. Best (free) NYC art spots

Gramercy Park Hotel Did you know that the Gramercy Park Hotel has a fabulous art collection? Throughout the hotel you can see pieces from Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Enoc Perez and more! The hotel is so glamourous, I love to pop in for a drink or a bite. But if you’re on a budget you can walk through the lobby and see some of these amazing pieces! Best (free) NYC art spots

MoMa PS1 MOMA’s PS1 in Long Island City is as free as you can get for museum quality exhibitions. It’s donation based and the suggested donation for adults is $10. That’s a steal. It’s even cheaper than most yoga classes! The summer events are always a good time. You have a few more weeks to get over there! Best (free) NYC art spots

The High Line I’m a huge fan of The High Line . During off-peak hours you can walk blocks quicker than you would if you were walking on the streets below, and you’re walking amongst gorgeous greenery. The public art on The High Line is constantly changing, so you can see several pieces a year. Best (free) NYC art spots
