Hello Fabulistas! These chilling temps have me reaching for hot meals and drinks. I’ve been frequenting my favorite New York spots for hot chocolate and pinning recipes for hearty, healthy soups. I love soup because it’s so filling and easy to sip on while you’re busy working. Here are just a few of my favorite recipes I currently have in rotation. Chicken and wild rice soup I adore my slow cooker. I make so many recipes in it while I’m busy working during the day. Wild rice makes such a great soup filler in this and lots of other recipes, too! chicken

Spicy black vegan soup

Soups are always tastier when they have a bit of a kick to them. Black bean soup is already delicious, but the chipotle peppers add that extra bit of spice that takes it over the top.

I always go weak in the knees for French onion soup. You know that I love all things French and that goes for this classic, too! This might not be the healthiest of soups, but it’s worth a splurge every once in a while.

This savory recipe sounds like a great soup to have on hand even into the spring. (Although, I think we New Yorkers won’t feel spring for quite a while!) Honestly, split pea soup can be a little plain tasting, so this variation is a welcome addition to the list!
