Hello Fabulistas! The latest arrival for my Project Design 2014 bedroom suite is an elegant, fashion-forward desk chair. Christopher Guy generously donated this seat with a sumptuous shape. He is known for his luxurious looks that blend classicism with modernism.

As beautiful as the chair is, I needed to reupholster it in fabrics that helped to balance my room. For this, I went to Kevin Bagnasco of Avanti Furniture Corporation. He has a big personality, a positive outlook, and always finds a way to make something happen. Here I am with him at the What’s New What’s Next event.

In addition to reupholstering this beautiful Christopher Guy chair, he also made our custom window seat cushion. The fabric for the chair was donated by one of my favorite fabric and home furnishing companies, Kravet . They are a leader in the industry, and the creator and sponsor of Project Design 2014. While they’re one of my go-tos for smart and interesting fabric selections, I also greatly respect their philanthropic philosophy.
